FMail2 is the successor of FMail. The reason to move to FMail2 was that I wanted tabs. Supporting tabs also means you can drag a tab to a new window or have an overview of all of them. At times it is handy to have more instances of Fastmail available. Tabs for Mail, Contacts and Calendar, or an extra Compose window.
